Wildfire Invitational Getting Close

July 11, 2014 – Peterborough & The Kawarthas, ON – Advance phone calls for ticket sales will begin this week for The Wildfire Invitational presented by PC Financial, a PGA TOUR Canada event taking place August 25-31 at Wildfire Golf Club near Peterborough.

Daily tickets will be $15 and weekend tickets $25 with proceeds supporting Camp Maple Leaf. Camp Maple Leaf is a residential summer camp experience for kids who would benefit the most from growing and learning while having fun, enjoying nature and making new friends and lasting memories.

The Wildfire Invitational presented by PC Financial provides an incredible opportunity to experience a first-class PGA TOUR Canada event, where golf’s next generation will be competing to make the next step on the path to the PGA TOUR.  Attendees will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with PGA TOUR Canada players from Canada, Australia, the United States, South Africa, and abroad.  All of these professional players are vying to earn status on the Web.com Tour for next season, bringing them one-step closer to the ultimate goal of a spot on the PGA Tour.

Wildfire Invitational
The 2014 Wildfire Invitational presented by PC Financial will take place August 25^th to 31^st at the Wildfire Golf Club in Douro-Dummer, Ontario (approximately 40 km north-east of Peterborough). The Wildfire Invitational Tournament and PGA Tour Canada returns to Peterborough and The Kawarthas for its second straight year and will combine the best of golf, charity, entertainment, food, and renowned scenery.
