About 50 golf
carts have been destroyed in a fire at a golf course north of Belleville.
Flames were
spotted coming from a building where the carts were stored at Trillium Wood
Golf Club at about 11-30 last night.
Belleville
firefighters battled the blaze and kept it from spreading to the main
clubhouse, but the storage building was destroyed and damage is estimated at
400-thousand dollars.
No one was
injured and despite the fire, the golf course is open today.
